THE BRITISH NUCLEAR TEST VETERANS ASSOCIATION
Premier Charity for all Nuclear Veterans
Formed initially to campaign for recognition and restitution of our Servicemen who participated in the British Nuclear Tests the organisation has evolved over the years to share it’s knowledge and heritage with people from all walks of life.
The British Nuclear Testing Programme ran between 1952 and 1967, it was the largest Tri-Service operation since the D-Day landings. Over 20,000 servicemen participated in the Weapons Tests. The Merchant Navy and civilian personnel were also involved. The development of these superweapons bought the United Kingdoms place at the world superpower table.

Support our new initiative.
One of our members suggested that we asked members to sponsor a copy of the 'Fallout - Living in the Shadow of the Bomb' book for their MP. A brilliant idea. The BNTVA will supply and post the book to your MP, with a letter informing them of the BNTVA, our Medal Campaign and asking for support.
If we can get a copy sponsored for every MP in the country, we can raise our profile. Our Chairman has sponsored the first book to be sent to Theresa May. This initiative is a great idea, but only if everyone supports it, we need to keep the pressure on the MP's whilst the AMSC are reviewing our medal award.
You can easily support the campaign by purchasing the book through the BNTVA website. It is a double bonus for the BNTVA as all profits go to the BNTVA from the sales of the book.
If you can help us, the cost per book is £8.00 including the supply and postage direct to the MP. Let's cover the entire UK and every constituency.
